Little Felt Elephant

Little Felt Elephant is designed for the Steiff 2020 collection.
This is the year in which the Margarethe Steiff Steiff company celebrates its 140th anniversary.
To honor this special occasion, Steiff is bringing to life a new elephant, the animal that started it all.
The first felt toy Margarete made was a felt elephant as a pincushion.
She made it for her sister-in-law Anna Steiff.
This cute little guy is made entirely of white felt.
It has a blue/yellow felt saddle bridge with little pins writing AS (Anna Steiff)
It has black glass eyes and a special chest tag for 140 years of Steiff.
It comes with the special gold plated "Button in Ear" with elephant pattern.
