It all started with the little elephant. In 1880, Margarete Steiff ran a sewing company in Giengen. Originally intended as a pincushion, the little elephant formed the basis of the company, which she built on in the years that followed. The "elephants with colorful saddles" were an important part of the range. What else should our anniversary teddy bear offer? He is proud of his elephant with a colorful saddle. Measuring 32 cm and dressed in the finest golden-blond mohair, his left paw pad is embroidered with the inscription "135 years" .
